Women Merge Africa, a non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering women in South Africa and neighbouring countries, has been launched to make a significant impact on women’s lives. This organisation is committed to helping women become their best selves, fostering meaningful relationships, promoting women’s solidarity and enhancing the overall quality of life for women.
Founded by Lumka Lumkile, a prominent social media personality, singer, and content creator, in partnership with Refelwe Tshabangu, an award-winning fashion student, Women Merge Africa is driven by a shared vision of creating positive change for women in this generation. The organisation was officially launched on 26 August 2023, in Pretoria, as a tribute to women by women, coinciding with Women’s Month.
Lumka Lumkile founder of Women Merge Africa, stated, “We believe in the immense power of women supporting one another. This organisation marks the beginning of something extraordinary, and we aspire to instil unwavering confidence in all women.”
Refelwe Tshabangu co-founder, emphasised, “We envision a world where women recognize their collective strength. Women often face challenges, and it is our mission to unite women to celebrate their potential and make a meaningful impact.”
