Lebohang Raputsoe, Miss Cosmo South Africa 2024, has returned home after representing South Africa at the first-ever Miss Cosmo International pageant held in Vietnam from 14 September 2024 to 5 October 2024, Over 30 unforgettable days, Lebohang embodied the spirit of South African excellence, ultimately securing a spot in the Top 21 against over 50 candidates representing various countries such as Thailand, Philippines, China, Venezuela, Indonesia, United States of America, Zimbabwe, Italy to name a few.
Lebohang’s incredible journey began with a heartfelt departure from O.R. Tambo International Airport, where family, friends, and supporters gathered to bid her farewell. Upon arrival in Vietnam, she immersed herself in the rich Vietnamese culture, exploring historic landmarks and learning about the country’s resilient history, having arrived a few days after Vietnam was hit by a devastating hurricane, the Miss Cosmo International organization and candidates visited those affected, contributing over $500,000 and food parcels to the affect community in Vietnam.
One of the pageant’s highlights was the National Costume Show, where Lebohang proudly showcased South Africa’s vibrant heritage. Her stunning outfit, designed by Hollywood Costumes, represented a South African Diamond, symbolizing the country’s precious beauty and resilience.
“For the preliminary and finale shows, She wore breathtaking gowns created by Tan Le Designs, a renowned Vietnamese fashion house,” Lebohang added. “I was honoured to wear Tan Le’s exquisite designs, which perfectly captured the essence of elegance and sophistication.
